As time marches, the SEO world changes very quickly. Engines are bought by others, some go down, and they change their policies every time you turn your head. Since the Search Engine Knowledge Base was first included in AddWeb, many things have changed. Microsoft now has a search engine of their own, Google AdWords has replaced Overture as the dominant PPC player, Overture has been bought out, etc.Besides a change in the landscape, things that once helped now may hurt your ranking. Even some things we once told you would hurt you, can now actually help you!
Because of this, if you have read the original SEO Knowledge Base, we strongly urge you to read this updated version. For the most part, it has not changed, so it may not seem immediately evifent that this is any different. However, here and there we have added, edited or removed content where appropriate.
